J.D. Hamilton, 65, of Robinson, died Thursday, March 30, 1989, at a local hospital following a lengthy illness. Services will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, April 1, 1989, at Connally-Compton Downtown Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery.
Mr. Hamilton was born Oct. 21, 1923, in Gilmer. He was a longtime Waco area resident.
Survivors include a daughter, Irene Tudor, of Robinson; two sons, Alton Carroll Hamilton and Steve Hamilton, both of Waco; three sisters, Lucy Allison and Wyona Stewart, both of Bellmead, and Mave Barfield, of Waco; two brothers, Garland Hamilton, of Duncanville, and Leonard Hamilton, of West; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
