Parker moved from Washington County Pennsylvania to Fayette Couty Indiana on 16 Apr 1836. To Rush County Indiana (there for 1840 and 1850 census),
Parker and Mary Louise Saul were married by Jacob Davenspeck, minister of the Gospel, in the Church of Christ, on Blue Davis Creek 17 April 1841. Greenbury Rush was appointed guardian of Samuel Scott, son of Parker Scott in Rush Co. on 9 Nov 1840. G.B. Rush (age 60-70) was living next door to Parker Scott in 1840 census (possible father in law- and grandfather to Samuel).
Parker purchased 82 acres in Hamilton County Indiana on 3 Feb 1854. In Hamilton County Indiana for 1860 census.
According to Son's Ellis' obituary. Parker was married three times, and had 20 children (three alive in 1914).

Buried in McCarty Cemetery, Atlanta, Hamilton, Indiana (no stone, but wife listed in Find a Grave)
