"Mrs. Cora Buntz, widow of Herbert Buntz, died Friday (Jan. 24) at a St. Joseph hospital where she had been a patient less than a day. She was 74.
A native of Forest city, she had lived all her life in Oregon and Forest City area. She was a member of the Woodville Presbyterian Church, the Oregon Garden Club, and the Priscilla Club.
Mrs. Buntz is survived by two sons, Victor and Richard, both of Oregon; two grandchildren; a brother, Doyle "Bud" Acton, Forest City; and two sisters, Mrs. Nellie McGuire, Mound City, and Mrs. Irene Planalp, Oregon.
Services were conducted Monday at the Woodville Presbyterian Church. Rev. Robert VanIngen officiating. Burial was in the Oregon cemetery."
