Musician. A saxophonist, he will perhaps be best remembered for his haunting saxophone work on the 1978 Gerry Rafferty hit "Baker Street". His break in the industry came, when he contributed musically to the Maxine Nightingale album "Right Back Where We Started From" (1976) and from that point, he went on to work with such artists as Pink Floyd, Marvin Gaye and Phil Collins. He released the solo effort "Her Father Didn't Like Me Anyway" in 1979. He died from an apparent heart attack.
