Barbara Lee Hinkle, 73, passed away Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, in Burleson. Service: 2 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Valley Funeral Home. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Barbara was born March 31, 1941, in Corsicana to Robert Corra and Minnie Shue Travis. She was a giving and loving Mama and Nanny. Barbara was a licensed vocational nurse since 1976 and retired in 2011. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Crowley. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald "Jerry" Eugene Hinkle; parents; and brother, Thomas "Jack" Jackson Travis. Survivors: Daughters, Sheree Hill and husband, Ron, of Oklahoma City, Okla., Angela Flores and husband, Chris, of Burleson; grandchildren, Travis Kleypas, Matthew and Michael Flores, Tabitha, Ryan, Jacob and Aimee Hill; brother, Robert Travis and wife, Ginnie, of Longview; sister, Annell Pearson and husband, Doyle, of Burleson; sister-in-law, Betty Travis of Forney; and extended family and friends.
