She attended schools in Atkins, Arkansas and Russellville, Arkansas. On June 5, 1942 she married Lester M. Gwin in Holdenville. With the exception of 10 years in Michigan, Mrs. Gwin has lived in Shawnee since 1941.
Norma was a registered Laboratory & X-ray technologist and a member of Grace Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter, Joy Didier, three sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Dennis Trout of Shawnee; son-in-law Marcel Didier of Galena, Illinois; grandchildren, Bob and Andrea VanOrden of Dallas, Chris and Jim Wykowski of Dallas, Holly and Jack Thompson of Shawnee and Brandy and Kevan Bond of Shawnee; great grandchildren Kristen and Travis Walnofer of Phoenix, Sarah, Jake and Jett Thompson and Nate and Kate Gibson all of Shawnee; great-great-grandchildren, Dylan, Peyton and Caleb of Phoenix; brother, Carroll Bradford of Seattle, Washington and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
