Jeanette Fornshell, 89, Pillager, died October 20, 2014, at Bethany Good Samaritan in Brainerd.
Services were held Thursday, October 23, at First Lutheran Church in Pillager with Pastor Hector Merced officiating.
Jeanette was born November 11, 1924, to Edward and Sarah (Jenkins) Ackerson in Lake Crystal. She married Curtis Fornshell July 30, 1944. They ran a bus service for the Pillager school for 30 years. She was a housekeeper for 30 years at Maddens Resort in Brainerd. Curtis died in 1985 and she remained in her home for 66 years before moving to Bethany. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Pillager.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis, her parents, grandsons Chad and Kevin Spilman, siblings Grace, Pearl, Jack and Jess, special friend Vernon Wilson and many extended family members.
Arrangements were by Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
