John Burket servied in the Civil War, Co.I, 21st OVI and he is my 2nd Great Grand Uncle, son of John and Barbara (Newcomer) Burket,Brother to Stephen Burket-my 2nd GGFather.

John was also a prisoner at Andersonville Prison from Sept of 1863 to Nov of 1865
