Mrs. Oma Jane Amos, wife of Frank Amos, died late Friday night at the family home on Route 1. Mrs. Amos was a member of the Methodist church, a member of the Paragould, Arkansas chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, an honorary member of the Business and Professional Women's club there, and a past president of the Paragould Parent-Teacher Association. Oma Shelby married Frank Amos March 2, 1896 source Darlington Mo Record, married by Rev J.B. Sweat. Surviving her are three daughters; three sons; four sisters one of whom is a twin; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral service was held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Ocker Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Gill Cemetery.
