Mrs. Deborah (Debbie) Lou Safriet Morrison, 56, a resident of Thomasville, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014.

Debbie was born September 23, 1958 in Troy, NC (Montgomery County) a daughter of the late Wiley Wesley Safriet and Dorothy Mae Bottoms Safriet.

She had made this area her home most of her life. She was employed with Tomlinson/ Erwin-Lambeth in Thomasville. Debbie enjoyed going to the beach, doing fund raising for Autism and breast cancer, and especially loved her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Eva Mae Cartrette, Barbara Ann Tucker, and Alice Faye Safriet.

On May 4, 1992 she married Jerry who survives of the home. Surviving in addition to her husband are four sons, two daughters, eight grandchildren, one sister and three brothers.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday in the J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Jimmy Barbour officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
