Stanley (Stan) William Hunt, age 74, of Tucker, Ga., passed away suddenly on Saturday October 18, 2014.
He was born in Capital Heights, Maryland. He came to Georgia in the early sixties while serving in the Unites States Army and resided there since. He earned an Associate of Science degree at Dekalb College. He worked and retired from Ford Tractor (Case New Holland) after 32 years of service. Stan had an enormous love of Golf, and was a member of Atlanta Seniors Golf Association. He held high regards for all of his fellow players.
He is predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Anna Margaret Hunt, sisters, Noni Forney and Lois Hunt and his brother, Ray Hunt.
Survived by wife, Gloria Hunt, daughter, LaDonna Dodgen and husband Lee Dodgen, son Jeff Hunt and wife Laura Hunt, step daughter, Gina Jones and husband Richard Jones, Stepson Mark Humphries, Six grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Graveside burial services will be officiated by Dr. Michael Rassmussen at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens on Wednesday Oct 22, 2014 at 11:00 am. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
