Justin W. Reed, 32, of Fannettsburg Pike, Shade Gap, PA, died at 6:00 AM, Thursday, October 16, 2014 in Dublin Twp., Fulton Co., PA as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Born May 21, 1982 at Chambersburg, PA, he was a son of Willis & Kathy (Briggs) Reed of McClure Road, Shirleysburg, PA. He was married to the former Dawn "Nikki" Parson on May 23, 2009. Mrs. Reed survives at their home.
Also surviving are his maternal grandmother, Thelma Briggs of Fannettsburg Pike, Shade Gap, PA, two sons, Maddux Justin Reed and Ashtun Brooks Reed, both at home and two sisters, Mindy Mihelic of Leesburg, VA and Missy Leidy of Shirleysburg, PA.
Mr. Reed was a member of the Orbisonia-Rockhill Sportsman's Association. He was employed by Central Penn Directional Drilling, Harrisburg, PA.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed playing with his sons.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Rev. Ken Boone officiating. Interment will be made at Fair Ridge Cemetery, RD, Shade Gap, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home 6 - 9 PM on Saturday and one hour prior to the service on Sunday.
Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund for Mr. Reed's Children at Community State Bank of Orbisonia, 761 Elliott St., Orbisonia, PA 17243.
