Edward Gardner, of Wapella, Is Called
Edward E Gardner of Wapella passed away at his home yesterday morning about 9 o'clock, following a short illness with paralysis.
Deceased was born near Atlanta, in Logan county. He was united in marriage with Susan Walden of Lane on October 27, 1888, but no children were born to this union. Deceased moved from Logan county to Dewitt county in his early life and for 40 years he was a farmer in the Solomon neighborhood. Six years ago he moved to Wapella where he had since made his home.
The only surviving relative is a half-brother, Elmer Gregory, living near Solomon.
Funeral services will be held at the Christian church in Wapella with Rev William Icenogle, pastor, in charge. The hour of the funeral had not been announced last night. Burial will be in the Walters cemetery.
