Shenandoah- Johnny Sultzer, age 6, was killed in an accident on their farm 4 miles east of Shenandoah. He had tied a rope around himself and a two year old colt, which he had haltered, and led the colt to a stream for water. The colt became frightened and dragged the boy for 40 rods through two gates and rough terrain. When the boys' mother reached him he had breathed his last breath.
