Loretta Christensen passed away peacefully on October 18, 2014 while surrounded by her loving family.

Loretta was born September 1, 1949 to Ralph and Donna Flitton in Murray, Utah.

She married her sweetheart, Phillip Christensen, on July 1, 1975.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed many callings.

Her true calling was her family. She loved doing art projects with her grandchildren and spending time in her backyard with her family.

Survived by her husband, Phillip Christensen; mother, Donna Flitton; brother, Craig (Irene) Flitton; sister, Shelly (Dale) Poplin; son, Aaron (Launa) Christensen, daughter, Amanda (Christopher) Ray; and grandchildren, Emma, Livi, Shane, Abby, and Wyatt. Preceded in death by father, Ralph; brother, Denny, and grandson, Joshua Ray.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Sandy City Cemetery, 9000 South 700 East.
