Mary Lue Stein, 83, of Custar, died Thursday evening, October 16, 2014 at Oak Grove Healthcare Center, Deshler.

She was born February 19, 1931 in Custar to the late Edwin and Marguerite (Adler) Feehan. On August 19, 1950 she married James Stein at St. Louis Catholic Church, Custar and they shared over 64 years together.

Mary Lue was a 1949 Milton Township High School graduate. She was a homemaker, farm wife and drove many years for the Transportation Department at Wood Lane Schools. A lifetime member of St. Louis Catholic Church, she was previously active in the Altar & Rosary Society and Festival Committee. A gifted gardener, she spent lots of time tending her beautiful flower gardens and enjoying craft clubs and card clubs.

She is survived by her husband, James; children, Richard (Jan) Stein, Custar; Ronald Stein, Bowling Green; Roger (Marcia) Stein, Mesa, Arizona; Pamela (Dennie) Glaser, McComb; son-in-law, Phillip Kramp, Custar; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Eileen (Bill) Wotschak, Sims, North Carolina; Helen (Raymond) Birtcher, Napoleon and brother, Terrence (Margaret) Feehan, Deshler.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Kramp and sister, Patricia Brown.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Custar. Interment will follow in St. Louis Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler.
