Henrietta M. Lang, 81, of Oshkosh, died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2000, at Mercy Medical Center. She was born July 11, 1919, in Oshkosh, the daughter of the late Herman and Mary (Lang) Drexler. On Aug. 7, 1946, Henrietta was united in marriage to Stephen Lang at St. Vincent Catholic Church. Stephen preceded her in death on Oct. 14, 1990. She was a longtime member and parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oshkosh. Henrietta had a love and joy for her home and family, especially her only granddaughter, Stephanie.
Survivors include her two children, Paul (Sandra) Lang of North Fond du Lac, and Mary Ellen (Ken) Binder of Oshkosh; her very special granddaughter, Stephanie Lang of North Fond du Lac; three brothers, Joseph H. Drexler, Raymond (Ceil) Drexler and Clarence Drexler, all of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Stephen, and a sister, Betty Ann Drexler.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oshkosh. The Rev. James Feeley will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Oshkosh. Visitation: From 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Poklasny Funeral Home in Oshkosh, with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m.; and at 10 a.m. until the hour of Mass on Tuesday at the church. The Poklasny Funeral Home in Oshkosh is serving the family.
