Jerry was an avid golfer who also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling with his lovely wife Ann.
He retired from the U.S. Army in 1987 at Fort Huachuca, Ariz.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sylvia Ann Whiteside; his son, JK (MiChelle) Whiteside; and his grandchildren, Joseph, Cassie, and Connor.
A graveside service will be held for Jerry on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Jensen’s Sierra Vista Mortuary.
