DYERSVILLE, Iowa - Leo C. Clemen, 87, of Dyersville, died after a long illness Sunday, Jan. 21, 1996, at the Senior Home, Monticello.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a parish scripture service at 4 p.m.

Mr. Clemen and his wife, Julia, farmed in the Luxemburg area until they moved to Dyersville in 1955. He was then employed by Modernfold in Dyersville until his retirement in 1973. He was then employed by Modernfold in Dyersville until his retirement in 1973.

He was born on Feb. 12, 1908, in Luxemburg, son of William and Clara (Zewen) Clemen. He married Julia Wiskus on Nov. 23, 1937, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Colesburg.

Surviving are his wife, Julia, a daughter, Doris Clemen, and a sister-in-law, Rosella Clemen, all of Dyersville; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Loretta Neumann, Agatha and Leona Lake; and two brothers, Peter and Arnold.
