Funeral services were planned for Thursday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. CST at Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church in Lanett with the Rev. Louis Upshaw officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Lanett.
Mrs. Dunn is survived by six children, Brenda (James Boozer) Glaze of Lanett, Flora (Dewayne) Bailey of Opelika, Edna Glaze of Opelika, Carolyn Boozer of Opelika, Jamillah Dunn of Opelika and Jessie (Christopher Chambers) Dunn of Lanett; four sisters, Roxie Dunn of Valley, Dorothy Dunn of Lanett, Mary Upshaw of Atlanta and Jeanette Ferrell of North Carolina; one brother, Robert Dunn of Valley; a special, devoted friend, Billy Crim of Lanett; a devoted cousin, Lottie Taylor of Opelika; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank East Alabama Medical Center Hospice, the cardiac staff, Dr. Eric Hemberg, Dr. Cameron, Dr. Robert Ingram, the Rev. Louis Upshaw, the Rev. Rodney Jones, the Re. Donald Lancaster and Mr. Calvin Avery.
