Mrs. Lacy Dimple Smith age 96 of Columbia died Thursday, February 25, 2016at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, March 6, 2016 from 11:00 a. m. til 12:00noon at Wayman Chapel A. M. E. Church with services at 12:00 noon at the Church with Reverend Victor Goodman Eulogist. The body will Lie-in-State Friday from 12:00 to 7:00 p. m. at V. K. Ryan &Son funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 til 7:00 p. m. Interment is in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Sam and Julia Gordon Parks. She was a member of Wayman Chapel A. M. E. Church where she served on the Usher’s Board. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Willie Clarence Smith and to this union six children were born.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include her children, Mable Baxter, Faye (Andrew) Claude, Donnie Smith and Larry Smith all of Columbia, TN; Frank (Audrey) Smith of Chesterfield Virginia, Robin (Mark Ridley) Stafford of Virginia; Several grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
