Arthur Douglas “Doug” Quinn, 94, died October 18, 2014 at Magnolia Manor of Spartanburg.

A native of Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Fred Richard and Hannie Branch Quinn, a retired employee of Lyman Printing & Finishing, a member of Fairmont United Methodist Church, and was a retired U.S. Air Force WWII veteran after twenty-one years of service.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Elizabeth Ray Quinn of Duncan; son, David T. Quinn of Redlands, California; a daughter, Susan Q. Hammett (Dean) of Spartanburg; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by five brothers, John R. Lark, Fred R. McSwain, Lloyd B. Quinn, Wilbur Quinn and Jack Quinn and two sisters, Edna Reuter and Frances Gilliland.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Bill Thompson. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park with full military rites.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Monday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairmont United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 204, Lyman, SC 29365.
