Anna D. "Shonnie" (Burse) Stevenson, 39, died Friday, April 8, 2005, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Shelbyville.

She was born July 7, 1965, in Indianapolis. Her parents were James and Ruth (Magness) Burse. Survivors include three children, Holden Stevenson, Austin Eldridge and Sean McCann, all of Shelbyville; and six siblings, June Taylor and Gearld Burse, both of Florida, Janie Forsythe of Avon, Carolyn Giddings of New Whiteland, Richard Burse of Chicago and Al Burse of Sheridan.

She graduated from Whiteland Community High School.

She was employed by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles for several years. Most recently, she was employed by Heritage Nursing Home in Shelbyville.

A service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Jessen Funeral Home, 729 U.S. 31 North in Whiteland. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the children's fund in care of Janie Forsythe, 8335 Balmoral Lane, Avon, IN 46123.
