George “Warren” Goodrich, 90, Meriden, died Thursday, October 16, 2014 at his home in Meriden. Warren was born July 20, 1924 at Meriden, the son of Orville Burnell and Effie Mae King Goodrich.

A lifelong resident of Meriden, he was a 1942 graduate of Meriden High School and a member of the Meriden Community Church, and a member of the Meriden Fin and Feather Club.

He was a farmer and stockman all his life in the Meriden area and had worked 33 years at Goodyear Tire Company in Topeka, retiring in 1986.

He was married to Virginia Mae Becotte on October 19, 1952 at Clifton, KS, she preceded him in death on July 15, 1998.

He is survived by on son, Mark (Rhonda) Goodrich, Meriden, on daughter, Laura (Steve) Wood, Gardner and three grandchildren, Garrett Goodrich, Marissa Goodrich and Jenny Hagge.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM, Monday at the Meriden Community Church. Burial will be at Rochester Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 5:30 PM, Sunday at the Church.
