Gwendolyn Pierce, 81, of Searcy, Arkansas, passed from this life Friday.

She was born Nov. 4, 1932, to Leonard Wyse and Gladys Perry.

Mrs. Pierce is survived by her sons, David Norwood and Connie Norwood; daughters, Judith Slack and Elizabeth Smith; brother, Bill Wyse; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis Norwood; son, Paul Edward Norwood; five brothers; and two sisters.

Services were at Murphy Funeral Home Marked Tree with interment in Tyronza Cemetery.
