Winterset Madisonian

Mrs. Elizabeth Knowlton died at her residence in this city, Friday evening, June 9, in the 63rd year of her age. Mrs. Knowlton was the daughter of Rev. Leonard Parker, formerly so well known here.
She was born in Holmes County, Ohio, and in 1853 was married to Israel D. Guiberson. They at once came west and settled in Winterset. In January 1858, Mr. Guiberson died. In 1862 she married W. M. Knowlton, who died in 1870.
The funeral services were held at the family residence on Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. James Stickel.
