Betty Jane Mathews Boudreaux, 85 years old, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014, at Ormond Nursing Home in Destrehan.
She was born on Tuesday, September 10, 1929, in New Orleans.
Surviving are her 2 sons, Duane Boudreaux and Jeff Boudreaux; 5 grandchildren, Jeffrey Boudreaux, Sadie Boudreaux, Jesse Boudreaux, Ricky Boudreaux, and Randy Boudreaux; 3 great-grandchildren, Elisha Boudreaux, Ethan Boudreaux, and Evan Boudreaux; and brother, Dick Mathews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Boudreaux; parents, Buford Mathews and Golda Cain Mathews; son, Rodney Boudreaux; and 2 brothers, Bill Mathews and Charles Mathews.
Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, Monday, October 20, 2014, from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Ponchatoula Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Hospice Associates of Metairie and Ormond Nursing Center, where Mrs. Boudreaux was a resident for 12 years, for all their care and support.
