Services for John Lee Eubanks will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Black Springs Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Eubanks, 76, died Friday in a local hospital.
He was born in Hancock County and lived in Milledgeville for many years. He was a former employee of Griffin Pipe Co. and Robins Air Force Base. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and received a Purple Heart.
Survivors include his children, Tillie E. Corbin of Macon, Rhonda Avant and Vera Taylor Northington, both of Eatonton,
Jeanne E. Peavy and Ginger E. Hall, both of Milledgeville, Terry L. Eubanks, Jon K. Eubanks, Tommy V. Eubanks, and Jack E. Eubanks, all of Milledgeville, and Scott Eubanks of Port St. Johns, Fla.; brothers and sisters, Wilmer Eubanks, Alton Eubanks, Christine Carr Underwood, all of Milledgeville, Runette Pounds of Sparta, and Marie Sherrer of Warner Robins; 23 grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
