In Memory Of
Tammie Lynn White
November 3, 1962 - October 15, 2014

Tammie Lynn White, at 51 years old was a devoted wife, caring mother and proud grandmother, whose loving nature enveloped everyone she came in contact with. On Wednesday the 15th of October she passed away at Emory University Hospital. Tammie was the first of two daughters born to Dean and Linda Buntyn in Forest Park, GA on the 3rd of November 1962. When Tammie was 11 she met the man she would eventually marry Randy White. Randy, at age 12, strolled up to Tammie and quite unceremoniously asked, “Will you be my girl?” to which she agreed. It was at that moment Tammie and Randy began their wonderful journey, proving inseparable for what would become 41 years of happiness. Tammie was 19 when she married Randy Excell White on April 18, 1981. Five years later she was blessed by the birth of her first child, Dustin and once again by the birth of her daughter Morgan two years after that. Tammie was diagnosed with an auto immune disorder in 2012, a life threatening disorder whose life expectancy is low. Despite the concern of her doctors Tammie continued to courageously fight on for another two full years eventually resting at Emory University Hospital amidst a crowded room in the ICU filled with her loving family and her best of friends. Her husband has described her as, “a mother to all.” Her caring nature shall never be forgotten and she continues to live on through the thoughts, memories, and prayers, of the countless individuals she has touched throughout her life. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the chapel. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, October 17, 2014 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Haisten Funeral Home-McDonough
