Born April 21, 1942, in Colleton County, he was a son of the late Henry Walker Robertson, Sr. and Grace Linder Robertson.
Mr. Robertson was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He will be fondly remembered as a wonderful and caring person who loved his family.
He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing and hunting. He was a retired employee of Asten- Hill.
Surviving are: his wife of 50 years, Betty Hiott Robertson; son, James Scott Robertson of Round O; daughter, Alicia Jean “Lissy” Robertson of Round O; 3 grandchildren, Shannon Jean Mattson (Lawton), Whitney Robertson, and Grace Robertson.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Caroline “Sister” Howell; and two brothers, H.W. Robertson, Jr. and Charles Robertson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 o’clock, October 19, 2014, from The Brice W. Herndon & Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel with the Reverend Jerome Hodge officiating. Interment will follow in Jones Swamp Pentecostal Cemetery, Walterboro.
