CECIL E. KEY Age 86 of North Palm Beach, FL, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010 at his residence. Born in West Palm Beach, FL, he had been a resident of North Palm Beach since 1962, coming from Riviera Beach. He served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. Prior to retirement, he was a finish carpenter for Fine Builders and the Palm Beach County School Board. Mr. Key was an avid boater, fisherman and loved traveling to the Bahamas. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Key of North Palm Beach; one son, Russell E. Key of North Palm Beach; two daughters, Rosalind K. (Thomas) Rourke of Jupiter, and Rhonda J. Lucas of North Palm Beach; seven grandchildren; one sister, Eunice Key of Jupiter; one daughter- in-law, MaryAnn Key of Wellington. He was preceded in death by one son, Randy S. Key and his brother Herbert Key and sister, Mabel Key. Friends are invited to meet with the family from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM, Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center St., Jupiter.
