Geraldine M. (née Sharkey) Halm Rose, 75 of Toms River, passed away on Saturday October 4, 2014 peacefully at home. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral from the Werson Funeral Home, 635 North Wood Avenue, Linden on Friday October 10th at 8:30 am. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John Vianney Church, in Colonia at 9:30 am. Interment will be at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Visiting hours will be on Thursday October 9th from 5-9pm only. Geraldine was born in Linden and lived in Colonia for 30 years before moving to Toms River, NJ. Geraldine enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Geraldine is predeceased by her husband, Edward Halm, Jr., her dear son Edward Halm III, her son in law Walter Lasota, and her great grandson Michael Waldron. She is survived by her beloved husband Walter Rose; her loving children, Debra Lasota, Patricia Weber and her husband Tom, Cheryl Kimszal and her husband Edward, John W. Halm and William J. Halm; her dear sisters June and Mary; two dear brothers Mack and William; her brother in law Thomas; her 9 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
