Edgar T. Cecil, 78, of 1606 1st Ave. died at 6:30 A.M. today in Cincinnati.

A native of Virginia, Mr. Cecil was employed in the Shipping Department of Armco Steel Corp. from 1942 until 1945.

His wife Eva, died in 1931. (As printed in paper, but she actually died in 1930)

He is survived by one son, Ben Cecil of Middletown; three daughters, Mrs. Jane Reese of Middletown, Mrs. Gladys Sorrell of Blue Ball, and Mrs. Anna Sorrell of Frenchburg, KY; three sisters, Mrs. Mollie Carpenter of Arkansas, Mrs. Lennie Carpenter of Wilmore, Calif., and Mrs. Ernie Hogg of Middletown; and 18 grandchildren.

Arrangements are incomplete at the McCoy-Lefler Funeral Home.
