Per her death certificate found on Ancestry.com: she was a daughter of James Sidney Galloway and Louisa Dampier and the widow of Lewis Franklin Yarborough. She resided at 1024 Whaley Steet and died at Baptist Hospital of coronary thrombosis prob coronary artery due to hypertensive C-V disease. The informant was Mrs. H. A. Neal of the same address.

Found in The State 03 August 1961: Mrs. Lewis Franklin Yarborough, 81, of 1024 Whaley Street, died Wednesday morning in Baptist Hospital after several weeks illness. She was the former Dorothy Galloway, the daughter of the late Louisa Dampler Galloway and James Sidney Galloway of Darlington County. She had made her home in Columbia most of her life. Mrs. Yarborough was the last charter member of Southside Baptist Church and was the last survivor of her family. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. P. T. "Nell" McElveen, Sr. of Columbia with whom she made her home, and Mrs. H. A. "Grace" Neal of Columbia; two grandchildren, Mrs. S. C. Williams Jr., and Pinckney T. McElveen, Jr.; and also a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon from Southside Baptist Church, conducted by her pastor, the Rev. W. Lloyd Hellams, the Rev. E. C. Brown, D. D., pastor of Shandon Baptist Church, and the Rev. L W. Corder, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Cayce. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Dr. Frank B. Martin, Marvin Taylor, J. E. DuBose, James Cox, Guy Coker and R. B. Hodge. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Board of Deacons of Southside Baptist Church, Dr. E. W. Masters, Dr. William C. Cantey, Dr. W. E. Fulmer, Gary Paschal, Sam E. Davis, L. P. Rabon, Glenn Kennedy, C. V. Lackey, D. T. Mayfield, R. L. Hilliard, Landrum Mallard, J. Manly Kirby, Ralph O. Tuten, W. M. Blackstone, John Wilson, Lester Hughes, E. E. Merchant, J. L. May, Ross M. Dixon, J. Roy Mims, W. E. Mims, Dr. L. O. Sawyer, J. S. Edmisten, L. H. Nixon, R. N. Burroughs, Robert Lovett, Norman E. Stroud, S. C. Williams, Sr., C. H. McMakin, J. H. Lanier, Sr., Albert B. Mendenhall, V. E. Holcomb, John W. Mims and S. S. Riley. Active pallbearers will meet at the Dunbar Funeral Home at 3:30 this afternoon. Honorary pallbearers will meet at the church at 4 o'clock.
