James Thomas "Popeye" Bellanfant, 67, died Thursday in Columbia Health Care Center.
Services are at 2 pm today In Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church with the Rev. L. Sykes officiating.
Burial is in Rosemount Cemetery.

The Maury County native was the son of the late Rev. James Abraham and Lula M. Bellanfant. He was retired from the state of Tennessee at the Cordell Hull Building in Nashville and an employee at the Maury County Central Maintenance Garage.
Survivors include a son, James Thomas Hamlett of Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Lula F. Bailey of Columbia; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
