Robert Muldoon, 95, of Manchester, beloved husband of the late Leatrice (Faufaw) Muldoon passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013.

He was born on Jan. 10, 1918, in Manchester, son of the late Robert and Harriet (Adamson) Muldoon. Bob attended local schools and had been a lifelong resident. He was a veteran of World War II, serving his country in the U.S. Army. Prior to his retirement in 1982, Bob had worked for over 35 years as a machinist at the Purdy Corporation in Manchester. He was a member of Lodge 73 A.F. & A.M, a member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon and Omar Shrine Club. Bob was a longtime member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Manchester.

He is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Cynthia Muldoon of Manchester, and Richard and Karen Muldoon of Maine; his brother, William Muldoon of Manchester; three sisters, Harriet Risley of Colchester, Elizabeth Gagnon of East Hartford, and Violet Benway of Manchester. Bob also leaves his four loving grandchildren, Richard Muldoon Jr.; Jaime Capps and her husband, Mark; Jesse Muldoon and his wife, Julie; and Justin Muldoon; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and burial with military honors in East Cemetery, Manchester will be private. There are no calling hours. Holmes Funeral Home, Manchester, has care of the arrangements.
