Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Christian Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Doug Sellers will officiate the service. The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mr. Woods was born July 14, 1926 in Holladay, Tennessee to the late Mack Augustus and Georgia Lee (Stokes) Woods. He was a retired repairman for Woods TV and Appliance, member of the Church of Christ, member of the Bolivar Central High School Quarterback Club and was a WWII United States Army Veteran. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Judy Reid Woods; four sons, Larry David Woods, Stanley Eugene Woods, Randy Lee Woods, Danny William Woods; two sisters, Mary Emma Wadlington, Ruby Marison; three brothers, Fred A. Woods, Len B. Woods , Wayne Woods, and one great granddaughter. He is survived by two daughters, Linda Brinkley (husband Edward “Butch”) of Huntingdon, Debbie Baumgardner (husband Chester) of Cedar Grove, and two sons, Michael Woods (wife Joyce) of Huntingdon and Billy Joe Woods of Camas, Washington. He also leaves 14 grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
