J.W. Higgs, 59, Dallas, died at 2 p.m. Sunday at a Dallas hospital following an illness of two months.
The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Higgs of Idabel, he was chief engineer and a member of the board of directors of Gifford-Hill Construction company of Dallas.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at a Dallas Episcopal church. Burial was in Hillcrest cemetery there. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Finney attended the services from
Idabel.
He is survived by his widow; one son, J.W. Higgs, Jr.; one brother, Morton Higgs, Los Angeles, Calif.; and three sisters, Mrs. Tom Finney, Idabel, Mrs. Griff C. Lee, Anquilla, Miss. and Mrs. Hudson Wren, Wilson, Ark.
