Haven Jackson died at his home on Maple street yesterday morning from the effects of a shock received about six weeks ago. He was born in Hinsdale in 1817 and had been a life-long resident of the town. He is survived by a widow, formerly Eliza Brown, one son, N.H., and two daughters Mrs John Sloane of Hartford and Miss May of Hinsdale. He was a much respected citizen, having been road commissioner and selectman a number of years.
