SKIATOOK-Services for Deborah Lee Roberson, 62, of Skiatook, formerly of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. John Haynes will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Roberson died Thursday, October 16, 2014 at a Tulsa hospital. She was born November 1, 1951 in Ada, Oklahma to Johnny Lee and Pearl McAnally Allen. She attended grade school at Union Hill and also attended Vanoss High School. She lived in Wynnewood and Sand Springs much of her life after being born and reared in Ada. She obtained a GED as well as CLEET Certification and was a Certified Nursing Assistant. She and her husband lived in Skiatook for the last 10 years.
She married Terry Lee Roberson on June 30, 1968 in Ada. Mrs. Roberson had been employed as a security officer, nursing home housekeeper and home health aide. She was affiliated with the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Roberson, of the home; three daughters, Lisa Hammons and husband Jeff of Collinsville, Terri East of Skiatook, and Ruby Hemphill of Sasakwa; a son, Shannon Roberson of Skiatook; and 5 grandchildren, Joshua East, Bradley Hammons, Emily Hammons, Tegan Fowler and Jimmy Lee Hemphill.
She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Allen; mother, Pearl Allen; son, Justin Arlie Clint Roberson; grandson, Michael East; and sister, Sandra K. Oleo.
