Ralph Cowart, age 86, of Atlanta passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014. A native of Forsyth County, Ralph was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Bertha Cowart and his sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and Ralph Harris.

Survivors include his wife of 61½ years, JoAnn Reid Cowart of Atlanta; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, E.H. Reid and friend Estell Venable, Doug Reid and friend Julia Rook; Jeannie and Jack Hartman, Dow and Joyce Reid, Becky and Tom Dunnagan, Diane Martin, Linda and James Hughes; special friends, Beverly Stancil and her son, Robby and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 20, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Stradley officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton at 1:00 p.m.
