Graveside services for Kathy Jenkins will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 20, 2014 at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Inola Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 pm-6 pm on Sunday, October 19 at the funeral home. 

Kathy passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the age of 61.

Katherine Mary (Little) Jenkins was born February 18, 1953 in Washington, D.C. to William “Bill” and Ruth Little.

She was reared and educated in Morenci, Arizona.

She met Ronald “Ronnie or Ron” C. Jenkins in Safford, Arizona and later the two were married on February 4, 1972.

Katherine and Ron moved to Oklahoma and she returned to the class room and earned a degree in physical therapy.

When Katherine wasn’t hard at work, she enjoyed quilting, crocheting and collecting dolls.

She loved spending time with her grand and great grandchildren; they were the light in her life. The holidays were special with all the family together. Katherine was one of OU’s biggest fans and cheered them on every chance she could.

This loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend will be missed by all she knew.

Those family members that survive include her husband Ron of their home in Inola; her children Bryan Jenkins and wife Sherry, Ronda Jenkins-Thompson and husband Steve and Shawn Jenkins and wife Lauren all of Broken Arrow;

her grandchildren Brandon Jenkins, Steven Jenkins, Tristan Jenkins, Major Jenkins and Carver Jenkins; her great-grandchildren Alyssa Jenkins, Bradley Jenkins, Hunter Jenkins and Colton Jenkins; her 4 sisters and a brother.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother.
