Gladys F. Ennis, 82, of Vidor died Monday, October 13, 2014 at her residence. A native of Johnson Bayou, LA, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Gladys was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Vidor and was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, October 17, 2014 at First Pentecostal Church, with burial to follow at 2:00 pm at Head of the Hollow Cemetery in Johnson Bayou, LA. A gathering for family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Gladys is survived by her sons Earl Ennis of Vidor, TX, Doug Ennis of Bridge City, TX, daughters Doris Lockett of Vidor, TX, Donna Eccles of Sulphur, LA, brothers Curtis Trahan of Reeves, LA, sisters Nathalie Hebert of Hackberry, LA, Shirley Simon of Ragley, LA, Lily Mae Ducote of Hackberry, LA, 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
