Eileen J. Scott, 82 years of age, passed away Sunday December 18, 2016 in Ravenna.
Born on August 10, 1934 in Ravenna, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Buelah (Kasserman) Cale. Mrs. Scott was a lifetime Ravenna resident who for several years was employed in sales at Skorman's in Ravenna. A member of the First United Methodist Church of Ravenna, Mrs. Scott was active in assisting with the church funeral dinners. When her children were growing up, she was a homeroom mother at their schools. She enjoyed collecting and making photograph albums of dolls and birds as a hobby.
On August 22, 1953, she married LeRoy E. "Scotty" Scott who preceded her in death on June 1, 2013. Also preceding was her sister Priscilla Skilton in 2015. Mrs. Scott is survived by her sons Randy (Debbie) Scott of Rootstown, Wayne (Donna) Scott of Ravenna, Ricky (Douglas Haines) Scott of Canton and Lynn (Kathy) Scott of Hiram; grandchildren Rochelle (Sean) McMahon, Wendy (Ray) Farinacci, Robert (Abbie) Scott, Shannon (Randy) Roshon, Matthew Scott, Jonathan Scott and Andrew Scott, and great-grandchildren Madi, Lexi, Gavin, Reagan, Ava, Mckenzie and Riley.
Funeral services for Mrs. Scott will be Friday December 23, 2016, 12 p.m. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, where visitation will take place from 11 a.m.. until the time of services. Officiating will be Rev. Stephen Sparling. Final resting place will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna, Ohio with her sons Randy, Wayne, Ricky and Lynn, and grandsons Andrew and Robert Scott acting as pallbearers.
