David will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his big caring heart and all the kindness he gave to so many people he met along his way.
David was a graduate of Nauset Regional High School, class of 1975. He was an excavating contractor. Some of his favorite work endeavors included, constantly plowing snow during the Blizzard of 1978, with his D-8 bulldozer in Boston for two weeks, and then racing over to the Town of Hull to build an earthen seawall to prevent the ocean from washing the town away; In 1984 he was instrumental in securing the freighter ship Eldia when it washed up on Nauset Beach. David's volunteerism included donating all of the excavation work during the building of the underground facility for the VFW in Brewster.
In honor of David being a young naturalist, donations may be made to the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, 869 Main Street, Brewster, MA 02631.
