Charlotte Laverne Wheeler, 74, of of Clayton, lived in Rabun County for the last twenty years. She was a retired Legal Secretary for the government and was a member of the Lakemont Baptist Church for the last ten years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Homer H. (Ted) Harmon and Ruby Ogle Harmon and a sister Shirley Taylor. She is survived by a son, Tony and his wife Cathy (“Kit Cat”) Wheeler, two daughters, Sherry Neal and husband Jim of Lima, Peru and Becki Bruce and husband Andy of Douglasville, GA., one brother, Harold Harmon and his wife Sandra of Decatur, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
