Steve Welch, 54, was the son of the late Lon J. Welch and Thelma Holbrook Welch. He was an auto collision repairman with Welch’s Classic Customizing. He was a member of Free Spirit Gospel Ministry and was a member of Carvers Chapel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Lou Walker.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Mize Welch, one son, Steven Harold Welch II; four daughters, Nicole Rice, Stephany Welch, Misty Welch, Greta Shackleford, one brother, Bruce Welch, ine sister, Vonnie Gay, and eight grandchildren.
