Age 79, of Harborcreek Township, the youngest of ten children born to the late Edward and Ethel Myers Rose. He was a 1952 graduate of the former Academy High School. Lloyd was employed as a charter bus driver for over 40 years. He had driven for Blue Bird Coach Lines and Coach USA. Throughout his employment, he had travelled through 48 of the 50 states and Canada. He enjoyed fruit and vegetable gardening, and was known for growing oversize pumpkins and apples.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Keith E. Rose; two sisters: Mildred Seifert and Gladys Bliley; and one brother, Donald Rose.

Survivors include his wife, Clydine R. Basinger Rose, whom he married on June 28th, 1997; one son, Kevin Rose of Lawrence Park; three daughters: Karen Rzpecki (Steve) of Harborcreek Township, Kimberly Rose of Texas and Kelly Spacht (Dennis) of Kentucky; four brothers: Carl Rose of Erie, Roger Rose (Marie) of Harrisburg, Pa., Bill Rose (Jean) of Delmont, Pa., and Elwin Rose of Erie; two sisters: Naomi Perley of Erie and Norma Gorniak (Jerry), all of Erie; six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Interment in Waterford Cemetery.
