Private interment for Vina Schley, 84, of Fairmont is scheduled at Lake Belt Cemetery, rural Ceylon.

Mrs. Schley died Tuesday morning, April 18, 1995, at the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center I Fairmont. Olson Funeral Home in Fairmont is in charge of arrangements.

Vina Antonia Koenecke, daughter of Herman and Anna (Oelkers) Koenecke, was born July 21, 1910, in Ceylon, where she attended public school and graduated from Ceylon High School in 1928. She worked in the banking business for a number of years. She married John Schley on Sept. 20, 1946, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fairmont. They lived in St. Cloud and Marshall. John died in 1964. She then moved to Fairmont.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran church.

Survivors include: one sister-in-law, Ardis Koenecke, of Fairmont; two nieces, Joan Lewis of Westside Iowa, and Lisa Hansen of Stafford, Va.; one nephew, Mark Koenecke, of Cameron, Wis.; great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister. (Fairmont Sentinel, Fairmont, MN, April 19, 1995)
