Sister Loretta Cassiday, 55, assistant business manager of Allegany Hospital since 1948 died Wednesday night at the hospital. Born Loretta Catherine Cassidy, January 12, 1896, she was a daughter of Francis P. and Catherine (Graef) Cassidy. Sister Catherine was assistant business manager at St. Mary's Hospital, Detroit and a Sister's Hospital and Emergency Hospital, Buffalo, N.Y. before coming to Cumberland. Survivors include two brothers, Francis J. Cassidy, Upper Darby, Pa., and Carl Cassidy, West Philadelphia and a cousin, Sister Edmonda Barley of Visitation Convent, Wilmington, Del. A requiem mass will be held today at 9 a.m. in the hospital chapel. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. The Allegany Hospital Aid Society will recite the rosary today at 7 p.m. at the hospital.
